Zena's Travels

1 day of Fall, 120
Zena percked the towering tree limb in the southern part of Rimwood, watching her rabbit prey sniff the ground below.
she moved her small Falcon body side ways across the limb as she cocked her head trying to get a better viewing point. "come on.....come on..." she quietly said in her mind willing the rabbit to run for it making it fair game for her to chase. a stick snapped some where in the distance making the rabbit freeze and look around. "this is it!" she thought getting her self ready for flight and not even bothering to look for the origin of the snapping sound. the rabbit darted off seeming to be in slow motion Zena spread her wings and lept but ended up watching, in slow motion, a brown bag cover her eye view.
It was to late....someone had caught her and now she was struggling in a potato sack. Zena extended her talons trying to get a grip of the bag but froze when a muffled 
"OOWCH" fallowed her grapple. she laid in the bag heaving as she waited for the dastardly person who had taken her kill to respond.

Gavin crouched behind the brush watching the beautiful bird. no matter how badly, he was tracking that horrible looking rabbit he couldn't catch it and apparently the Bird had the same problem. he inches a little closer and took out the potato sack he had been carrying for that stupid rabbit. When he had inched not a foot away from the Birds perch he stepped on the tinyist of branches and cringed. the rabbit ran away and the bird raised its wings and he learched himself and the bag over it."Akcna, this one is for you!" he thought to himself as he hit the ground landing on one knee. he held the bag tightly as he looked at its struggling occupant. He smiled and Bird screeching inside grabbed a hold of his hand with its sharp talons.
"OOOWCH!" he made a silent screaming expression 
but did not let go of the bag. he waited for a second and convinced himself...that the Bird had not in fact tore his hand open. he looked down at the bag and took a piece of thread, that had fallen from his shirt just that day, and tied it around the bag. He waited for the Bird to relinquish its prey (his hand).

Zach laid relaxed by the main path under on of the huge birch trees of Rimmwood. His ears and tailed twitched every once in a while.The soft breeze blew through his Jet black fur. A strange smell on the wind attracted his attention compelling him to perk his ears, arise from his relaxed day and seek out the bird prey smell. After about half of sunrise he had finally found the source of the smell and squawking. Raising his head ,yet again, he spotted the young human making a silent face to the sky.

Zena laid in the sack for a minute catching her breath Then released her talons. The Dreadful person dropped the bag leaving her spraled on her back with her wing bent the wrong direction. she heaved again. "no wonder our kind die so easly by heart attack!" she thought. The hunter cursed as he probably inspected his hand. Zena started to get dizzy, because she was on her head, no blood was coming to her heart and she began to feel faint
. Then like a light from above, a hand descended into the bag and pulled her out and minutes later as she began to get a hold of her self she realized she was tied to a tree by a leather cord around her neck. Zena jumped and squacked and tried to fly away unsecsessfully. "If I change...I'll choke myself!" she said panicking "WHAT IF HE EATS ME!!! she thought.

Zach watched as the young man took the bird out of the sack. He crouched down in silence, lifting and dropping his feet ready to attack at any moment all he needed was....the bird not to be tied to a tree. his low deep growled rung out as he crouched so far his chest touching the ground. He launched forward with a loud rowle.

Gavin looked up at the large tiger lunging at him, his adrenaline started, and he rolled off to the side of the log barely missing a claw in the face. he got on a fours and prepared for a a fight by pulling out his eating knife.
Zena calmed her self posed and ready for a flight she knew she couldn't take. She kept her eyes on the bird eating cat.

He growled another low growl as he crouched down agian his eyes fallowing every move of the young man. He took another lunge but this time a small one giving him a fast start and bolting forward at him knocking the man on his back, Zach on top of him growling.

Gavin sat under the panther trying his hardest to not make any sudden movements. he couldn't help breathing hard. he just laid there under the panther staring into its brown eyes.
Zena , though in animal form, almost smiled seeing her capturer pined and in as dire need as her
. she folded her wings in and started making a coughing sound that was supposed to be a falcon laughing.

Zena froze suddenly. "crap!!" she thought and again started to struggle more frantically this time.
Galvin laid under the, now human formed panther, "NO way! I caught it!" he pulled his arm under the mans knife hand tossing him to the side. Gavin rolled to his feet, now covered in dirt and leaves, he readied himself for a fight.
Zena froze suddenly.
"crap!!" she thought and again started to struggle more frantically this time.Galvin laid under the, now human formed panther, "NO way! "eh! your no match for me!" he snapped still holding the tinny knife" I could tare you to shreds if I wanted to! leave or I won't spare your life"

Now freed, Zena changed into her human form with an "I"M GOING TO KILL YOU" expression. she walked over to a tree and bent over spit out some blood out behind it. she walked over to both of them and confiscated any knives they had on them. She stood there breathing hard waiting for them to say something.
Gavin's eyes widened and he swore again. "why are there so many Dad gum leirma here!!?"

she gritted her teeth "Like it was a surprise that the are more of you own kind in this woods!" she yelled at him
she walked up to the human and slapped him. Gavin just stood there eyes still wide. "ok....I deserved that." he wispered to himself he then turned toward the panther/man and pointed "but he should know better!" Zena slapped him again "HEY! why you do that again!?" he said rubbing his cheek as he took a few steps back. "you don't pass blame!" she just stared at the Panther/man with her arms crossed.

she gave the panther a look then turned and disappeared.
Gavin was about 20 yards away by now and started on a brusque relaxed walk down on of the paths heading toward Spindrill. When all of a sudden he looked up and ran right into Zena "owch" he said and jumped back a foot. she grabbed him and pulled him...seemingly transporting them back to where they started all this mess. he stumbled back and forth looking around confused. "I aught to drop you off a cliff..." she said sternly to the Panther/man.
she gave the panther a look then turned and disappeared.

she frowned "why didn't you even check to see if you were eating one of your own kind..." "that's just....I even did that with the rabbit I was hunting" she glanced and gave Gavin a look.
Gavin looked at her and put his hands up Innocently. Zena got a hurt look on her face and bent behind the tree again spitting.
